A well-established frozen food production facility is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join its growing team as a Forklift Driver pre-dominantly based working in very cold conditions (freezers). This role is essential to maintaining smooth warehouse operations and supporting the movement of ingredients, packaging, and finished goods in a temperature-controlled environment.The Warehouse Associate/Forklift Driver ensures efficient handling of materials and products while adhering to safety, sanitation, and food handling standards. This includes compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and internal protocols. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting and is comfortable working in cold storage areas.Pay: CA$18.00-$19.00 per hourJob Type: Full-time, Day ShiftKey Responsibilities

Organize and rotate frozen inventory using FIFO principles
Perform shipping and receiving duties
Pick and stage orders for delivery
Track and document product movement
Maintain cleanliness and organization across warehouse zones
Monitor fridge and freezer temperatures daily
Support inventory counts and report discrepancies
Complete weekly sanitation tasks outside of production areas
Conduct monthly facility inspections and report issues
Move cases from production line to freezer storage
Assist with general housekeeping and other duties as assigned
Approximately 50% of each shift is spent working in the freezer environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience
Valid Forklift or Combi-Lift certification
Experience working in freezer environments preferred
Background in food or dairy manufacturing is an asset
Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and safe food handling practices is beneficial

Requirements

Class 1 Licence preferred
