- Review staffing requirements with supervisors and management and support workforce planning activities
- Coordinate documentation and ensure adherence to applicable policies
- Coordinate apprenticeship requirements, including tracking terms, managing school schedules, and supporting apprentice inquiries
- Verify employee tool lists and ensure alignment with project and operational requirements
- Assist with completion and submission of union and regulatory documentation
- Coordinate, schedule, and maintain records of training for internal, client, and regulatory requirements
- Support the preparation and coordination of annual safety kick-off meetings
- Upload and maintain training records in systems such as ISN and TELDIG, and coordinate with Valard Training
- Provide administrative support as required, including shipping coordination and phone coverage
- Support CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration) compliance and manage associated training requirements
- Independently manage LOA calculations, issue resolution, and documentation
- Review and verify documentation for employees exiting the organization; prepare and submit data to HR
- 3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within construction, utilities, or a related industry
- Experience supporting workforce coordination, training administration, or compliance-related activities
- Familiarity with apprenticeship programs and requirements within the electrical or utility sector
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience working in a unionized environment (e.g., CUSW)
- Experience with compliance platforms such as ISN, TELDIG, or similar systems
- Knowledge of transportation compliance (CVOR) and training requirements
- Depending on qualifications, the successful candidate may be offered a position at a more appropriate level.
