- Provide executive assistance to the Senior Vice President of Rail
- Draft and compose professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes
- Participate in internal and external meetings
- Plan and coordinate special events, projects, and corporate activities
- Prepare and submit reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc)
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and manage vendor relationships for office equipment and services
- Monitor and follow up on contracts related to advertising, services, maintenance, and rentals
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Prepare and edit documents, including presentations, reports, and spreadsheets
- Assist in the preparation of board meetings, including agenda development and material compilation
- Coordinate and manage travel arrangements and itineraries
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Annual salary between $62,000 and $72,000

- You possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, or a related field
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an assistant or similar role
- You possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- You have strong organizational and project management skills
- You possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- You have the proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- You have a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- You have a proven ability to work independently and take initiative
- You possess strong record-keeping and documentation skills
- You are proficient in time management, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- You use professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with senior executives and external contacts
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Excellent time-management, planning, conceptual and consultative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
