- Develop and nurture candidate leads through personalized communications, email campaigns, and targeted marketing materials
- Implement effective follow-up strategies and workflows to maintain candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve processes and outcomes
- Advise prospective students on the Niagara University application process; help them to expedite and complete the process.
- Conduct timely pre-review of graduate applications, screening applications for completeness and satisfaction of basic admissions criteria
- Contribute to the creation of a multi-year recruitment calendar and manage virtual and in-person recruitment events, including program webinars and open house events
- Represent Niagara University at recruitment events, including but not limited to: career/pathway fairs, networking events, and campus recruitment activities
- Create social media posts showcasing events and admissions opportunities.
- Design and deliver engaging presentations to promote graduate opportunities
- Work to build appropriate and successful communications with community and college partners.
- Work effectively and collegially with co-workers, employees, and students.
- Must be thoroughly familiar with all courses, degrees, certificates, and departments at Niagara University and have comprehensive knowledge of the admissions and financial aid processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of Niagara University's graduate programs, degrees, certificates, and departments
- Demonstrated knowledge of university admissions processes
- Experience effective recruitment strategies and lead nurturing techniques
- Experience with event planning and management for virtual and in-person recruitment activities
- Knowledge of social media marketing and content creation best practices for higher education
- Awareness of data privacy regulations and confidentiality requirements in educational settings
- Strong grasp of metrics analysis and reporting to improve recruitment outcomes
- Understanding of relationship building with community and college partners
- Proficiency in application review processes and admissions criteria evaluation
- Maintain confidentiality of information (including but not limited to: student and employee personal information, student grades, etc.), both during and after their employment with the University. Any question regarding the confidentiality of material should be referred to the supervisor. Any violation shall subject the employee to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
- Perform other duties assigned.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in post-secondary domestic student recruitment preferably at the Graduate studies level with proven customer service and admissions experience.
- A valid G driver's license is required that satisfies both University and insurance company underwriting rules and regulations for driving a motor vehicle. Must also be able to operate a motor vehicle in Canada.
- The ability to perform all duties related to the position in Canada regardless of residency is required. This includes, but is not limited to, border crossing and eligibility to work in Canada if the employee decides to relocate.
