Job description:We are seeking a Pavement Maintenance Division Lead for our crews. As the PMDL, you will perform a wide variety of projects for various clients across the city. Types of asphalt maintenance that EverLine may complete include, however are not limited to:· Asphalt Crack filling· Asphalt Infrared repairs and pothole repairs· Line painting· Sealcoating of commercial, residential, and industrial propertiesCompany OverviewEverLine Coatings and Services is a premier line painting and maintenance company that proudly has a location in Your City. Are you ready to make an impact?Job SummaryOur Line painting Technicians utilize our specialized equipment and apply materials on pavement and concrete surfaces in order to provide maximum value for our clients' pavement and concrete assets. The team member understands that when needed they may be asked to help on other types of projects that EverLine undertakes, such as interior safety markings projects, epoxy floor coating projects, shop/ maintenance work, etc.***Due to the nature of the services we offer and the weather/ temperature dependance, team members in this position would be asked to work night shift from approximately April to September. The majority of shifts that fall outside of this time-frame would tend to be day shift.
***The position is seasonal (typically April to December). Opportunity for year round employment available to select team members that demonstrate the skillset and desire to remain employed year-round.ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU’LL DOWith the proper training, onboarding, assistance and oversight of the management team, the Pavement Maintenance Technician Manager will assist with:Production· Learn and utilize the various platforms, tools, resources and equipment EverLine has on the production side of the business· Assist with leading production hands-on· Set up crews for success· Oversee shop (maintenance, set up, clean up)· Assist with leading team members/ crews to complete projects· Quality control· Client communication· Submitting all reports required by EverLine (SCRUM, FLHA, Ops., etc.) in the timeframe required.· Etc.QualificationsWHAT YOU BRING· Previous experience completing the services that EverLine offers (painting, spraying, rolling, brushing, cutting, surface preparation, etc.).· Previous leadership experience.· A positive, helpful, constructive, and ready-to-work attitude.· You are a self-motivated, critical thinker who likes to problem-solve.· You understand the importance of punctuality, organization, and attention to detail.· Ability to work in a physically demanding role with lots of walking, bending, and lifting (up to 75lbs).· Ability to work well independently and unsupervised.· A G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record and a reliable mode of transportation· A cell-phone with access to internet/ data.· Past experience with small engines (like lawnmowers) and/or paint sprayers is an asset· An Engineering educational background is an assetBenefits/ Perks· Competitive wages· A fulfilling, collaborative, and fun atmosphere with a great team.· Training opportunities and advancement within the company.
