- Participate actively in promoting a strong health and safety culture in the team.
- Communicate and coordinate with contractors.
- Execute field programs, including collecting and analyzing field data from soil, surface and groundwater, water supply well drilling, borehole logging, and hydraulic well tests.
- Evaluate data and technical reporting of:
- groundwater monitoring;
- aquifer testing;
- soil sampling;
- Environmental Site Assessments.
- Support project managers, including developing work plans and project scheduling.
- Undergraduate (or graduate) degree in geology, geoscience, or environmental science.
- Relevant work experience in a related field; consulting experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with technical and non-technical clients and contractors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience working safely in remote areas and extreme environments and weather conditions.
- Familiarity with Alberta regulations and guidelines.
- Eligibility to become registered with a professional association (e.g., P. Geo., P.Ag.) is an asset.
- A valid driver's licence.
