- Design, develop, and implement solutions within ServiceNow for Discovery and CMDB modules
- Configure and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery, including MID Server setup, credentials management, probes, sensors, and schedules
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems (REST APIs, SFTP, Graph Connectors, import sets, transform maps)
- Create and optimize workflows, business rules, and scripts to automate asset and discovery processes
- Implement and maintain the CMDB to ensure accurate, up-to-date IT asset and configuration information
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide asset visibility and management insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions, including Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts
- Provide technical analysis and recommendations to improve Asset, Discovery, and CMDB processes
- Troubleshoot production and test issues; perform root cause analysis and resolution efforts
- Assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported areas
- Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
- Document development work, system designs, and operational procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience
- 5–8 years of ServiceNow experience, with at least 3 years hands-on in Discovery and CMDB
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow Discovery administration (probes, sensors, MID Server, credentials, schedules)
- Experience with CMDB fundamentals (CSDM, CI classes, relationships, deduplication, data quality)
- Knowledge of Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) and Discovery Patterns
- Infrastructure knowledge: networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, ports, firewalls, SNMP, WMI, SSH), Windows/Linux server basics, virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS), containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise integrations with ServiceNow
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex situations
- Strong analytical and technical skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist for Discovery (CIS-Discovery)
- ITIL foundations and understanding of Configuration Management processes
- Experience with Flow Designer, and Service Catalog
- Scripting (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell) for automation and CMDB hygiene
- Familiarity with Service Mapping and CI relationships
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work with technical and business stakeholders
