- Maintain and manage the network, systems and infrastructure, such as Microsoft/Azure active directory, network topology and back-up technologies
- Collaborate on the technical implementation of system enhancements
- Actively use our daily planning and change management procedures
- Participate in process optimization and documentation
- Handle escalations from our user support team and provide our first level support team with technical advice on handling advanced cases.
- Research solutions relevant to improving our processes and technical challenges.
- Keep up to date on the different technologies through training and dedicated learning.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft (Cloud and On-Prem), Virtualization, Security, etc.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a network administrator.
- University or technical degree an asset.
- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft environments, operating systems, Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
- Knowledge of Hyper-Convert technologies and Virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of scripting, automation and software deployment
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise level infrastructure
- Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
- Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
- ASSET – knowledge of any of these systems
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Illumio Network Segmentation
- Microsoft Intune
- Wireless and network technology and configuration (Juniper, Cisco)
- Knowledge of Nutanix Hyper Converged technology
- Highly self motivated and directed.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Customer service oriented.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
