We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with a strong background in C# .NET, Visual FoxPro 9, and SQL Server to support and modernize our legacy systems while contributing to new development initiatives. Location: Remote (Canada only)
Employment Type: Full-timeWhat your impact will be:

Maintain and enhance existing applications developed in Visual FoxPro 9.
Participate in the migration of legacy systems to modern .NET-based architectures.
Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and desktop/web applications in C# .NET.
Optimize SQL Server databases and queries for performance and reliability.
Collaborate with QA, product management, and support teams to deliver reliable software.
Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and technical planning.

What we are looking for:

Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
Proficient in C# .NET (Framework and/or Core).
Strong experience with Visual FoxPro 9.
Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including T-SQL, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

What would make you stand out:

Knowledge of ASP .NET
Experience with API development and integration.
Experience in the retail or POS software industry.
