What You'll Do
  • Lead and oversee the maintenance department's safety, environmental, and training programs, ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive a proactive maintenance strategy by implementing and managing a best-in-class preventive and predictive maintenance program, utilizing modern technologies and industry best practices tailored to the lumber sector.
  • Optimize maintenance operations through effective supervision, workforce development, and the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.
  • Analyze maintenance performance and operational data to identify trends, minimize unplanned downtime, improve asset utilization, and execute cost-saving initiatives that enhance plant efficiency and reliability.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Trade Qualification (Millwright/Electrician) or Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
