Product Marketing Manager - Agriculture

- Work closely with internal stakeholders to design and conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends and successfully launch new products / features
- Build and maintain competitive landscape matrix (incumbents, FABs, market size)
- Create and execute launch plans
- Develop and manage product marketing campaigns
- Ensure product release customer / internal communications are aligned with positioning
- Define market segments
- Develop customer and user personas
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of our customers, the problems they are trying to solve, and how they make buying decisions
- Refine market sizing and market opportunity
- Maintain competitor briefs and battle cards
- Partner with the product team on product definition
- Define features, advantages, and benefits for our products by user persona
- Refine product value propositions by customer segment
- Maintain catalog of product features
- Developing product marketing materials, including: demos, product videos, communications, collateral, and product pitch decks
- Contribute to long range planning
- Other responsibilities as determined by the Product Marketing Director
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, agriculture or a related field
- 7+ years of marketing, product management, sales experience, or a combination of
- Agriculture experience is an asset
- MBA or Master's degree in Marketing is an asset
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Direct or indirect experience with product positioning and messaging
- Familiarity with market research and analysis techniques
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and engineering teams
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tactics
- Understanding of customer needs and behaviors in crop inputs and agricultural industry
- Team player and flexibility to work on any other projects as required
