This position is responsible for the coordination of all Prototypes and First off projects, working with our scheduling, planning and manufacturing teams to help to drive completion. As well, help to drive product solutions where required.This position is currently open and reflects a replacement position due to a departureThe salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities. Responsibilities:When your actions lead to success:Project Orchestration: Manage up to 50 concurrent prototype projects, prioritizing high-value accounts and navigating ambiguous project briefs.Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between Engineering, Planning, Production, and Outside Suppliers to resolve daily production snags.Technical Documentation: Create, review, and distribute production dockets via PACE (ERP); ensure all out-of-scope costs and billables are captured.Production Pushing: Actively engage on the manufacturing floor to drive completion of "first-off" units, ensuring they meet structural and aesthetic requirements.Problem Solving & Innovation: Facilitate briefings for new projects and engage the Innovation team for specialized, non-standard builds.Client Management: Handle difficult customer issues regarding timing and feasibility, maintaining long-term relationships through transparent communication.Process Improvement: Actively participate in Continuous Improvement efforts to streamline the hand-off from prototype to full-scale production. Qualifications:When your expertise drives us:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in Millwork, Metal Fabrication, or Print production.Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret technical/CAD drawings and understand equipment limitations.Software: Proficiency in PC-based applications (Excel/Word) and experience with ERP systems (knowledge of PACE is a significant asset).Communication: Superior oral and written communication skills; ability to "translate" between technical staff and corporate clients.Soft Skills: High level of resilience, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, "unstructured" environment.When benefits really help you live better:We offer a comprehensive and flexible benefits package designed to support your well-being and help you thrive—at work and at home.
