Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: $100,000 to $120,000K + Benefits, Bonus, RRSP MatchingAbout the OpportunityOur client is a growing, mission-driven organization in the philanthropic and financial services space, supporting Canadian donors and families through a highly respected donor-advised fund platform.As the organization continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the full accounting function, with a strong focus on fund accounting, donor-advised fund administration, and non-profit financial reporting.This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA who is looking to combine strong technical accounting skills with meaningful, purpose-driven work.Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle accounting, including month-end, general ledger, and bank/investment reconciliations
- Oversee fund accounting and reporting for donor-advised funds, including contributions, grants, investment activity, fees, and donation receipts
- Prepare financial reports, cash flow analysis, budgets, and fund-level reporting
- Manage vendor payments, banking activities, and HST rebate filings
- Support year-end audit and liaise with external accountants
- Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and confidentiality standards
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting
- CPA designation required
- 10+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience
- Strong experience in fund accounting and financial reporting
- Non-profit, charitable organization, foundation, or donor-advised fund experience strongly preferred
- Experience with grant, donation, and investment-related accounting is an asset
- Highly detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable in a dynamic, service-focused environment
