- Ensure the delivery of all the equipment in accordance with safety standards, on time and on budget in compliant with the technical requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the DNNP stakeholders to ensure the Project requirements are met.
- Manage work on site by scheduling work for crews and supervising shift work.
- Keep track of all fabrication activities on site and provide updates during leadership meetings.
- Identify any issues that may arise and troubleshoot as needed.
- Supervise the fabrication team on site and provide feedback as needed.
- Review shift work and get updated Information from Fabrication Leads on all lines tracked in the schedule.
- Lead meetings and provide updates on shift schedules.
- Escalate any issues affecting safety, quality, cost, and schedule on shift for resolution while enforcing the 10-30-60 rule.
- Lead supervisors' safety meeting and participate in any alignment meetings with the client.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 10+ years of filed experience in heavy industrial (steel fabrication or construction) required.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of the ASME code.
- Previous experience working with trades and union relations.
- Experience working on a nuclear project is considered an asset.
- Good computer skills (excel, outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
