- Assistance in preparation of drawing packages for projects of varying scale.
- Assistance in preparation of documentation including device specifications, device lists, bill-of-materials, technical reports, etc.
- Assistance with proposal requests and write ups.
- Coordination with other disciplines (process, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, etc.).
- Ensuring compliance with customer specifications and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Delivering work within assignment scope, on time and budget.
- Complying with GHD's Health and Safety policy and procedures, and applicable project plans.
- Developing understanding of the discipline by researching regulatory requirements and developments in the technical field.
- Living GHD's values - Teamwork, Respect, Integrity and Safety.
- Participation in the Young Professionals group in the Region, and Graduate Development Program activities.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 1+ years' relevant internship experience. Sound understanding of Engineering principles, and an aptitude for design development.
- Working knowledge of drafting tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and team playing skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong desire to learn.
- Working towards Registered member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
- A valid driver's license.
