
Product Specialist II

- Ensure material is released for shipping in a timely fashion
- Request chemical and mechanical testing as needed
- Evaluating surface inspection results
- Navigate all software packages related to certification
- Report on quality problems to local Ops
- Assist in preparation of site QA documents and inspection procedures/forms
- Review customer and industry specifications
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or related experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment (Steel or tubular manufacturing preferred)
- Good knowledge of steel processes and tubular products
- Experience in statistical data analysis and process analysis
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; ability to learn other software applications
- Six-sigma green belt or better qualifications, an asset
