Our client, a high-volume bakery production facility, is seeking a Class 4 Power Engineer to join their team. As a Power Engineer, you will be part of the Maintenance & Utilities Department supporting the Engineering, Production, and Facilities teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting ability, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive, safety-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title:

$38.74 per hourWhat's the Job?

Perform routine inspections and monitoring of boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, wastewater, silo melters, dry ingredient systems, and oven/depositing areas
Conduct hands-on boiler operations including blow downs, safety checks, startups, shutdowns, and chemical feed water monitoring
Maintain and service HVAC systems, air compressors, dust collectors, and related equipment
Complete PMs, work orders, and inventory checks for boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, wastewater, and production systems
Assist millwrights and electricians with troubleshooting and mechanical repairs across production equipment

What's Needed?

Valid Power Engineering certification (suitable for boiler and refrigeration operations)
Experience with boiler operations, ammonia refrigeration safety, and HVAC maintenance
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform repairs, greasing, bearing replacement, and equipment adjustments
Ability to follow LOTO procedures, GMP standards, and maintain safe work practices
Strong communication skills and ability to respond quickly to operational issues
