Our client, a high-volume bakery production facility, is seeking a Class 4 Power Engineer to join their team. As a Power Engineer, you will be part of the Maintenance & Utilities Department supporting the Engineering, Production, and Facilities teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting ability, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive, safety-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title:

$38.74 per hourWhat's the Job?
  • Perform routine inspections and monitoring of boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, wastewater, silo melters, dry ingredient systems, and oven/depositing areas
  • Conduct hands-on boiler operations including blow downs, safety checks, startups, shutdowns, and chemical feed water monitoring
  • Maintain and service HVAC systems, air compressors, dust collectors, and related equipment
  • Complete PMs, work orders, and inventory checks for boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, wastewater, and production systems
  • Assist millwrights and electricians with troubleshooting and mechanical repairs across production equipment
What's Needed?
  • Valid Power Engineering certification (suitable for boiler and refrigeration operations)
  • Experience with boiler operations, ammonia refrigeration safety, and HVAC maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform repairs, greasing, bearing replacement, and equipment adjustments
  • Ability to follow LOTO procedures, GMP standards, and maintain safe work practices
  • Strong communication skills and ability to respond quickly to operational issues
