As an Assistant Wealth Management Advisor, you play an active role in supporting wealth managers. You ensure that clients receive a high level of service, help manage client accounts and support clients with their product and service choices, based on recommendations from the Desjardins Securities team. Interpersonal savvy and a solid command of operational activities in the securities environment are essential. More specifically, you will be required to:Advise clients on products and services that will meet their needs and help them reach their investment objectives, based on recommendations from wealth managersTrade stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and other investment products on behalf of clients.Prepare and review portfolios and maintain a trusted business relationship with clientsRespond to client inquiries about their account and/or the products and services offered, ensuring a high level of service is maintained at all timesHelp ensure sound operational management of client accounts, including documents for updating client profiles in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures and regulatory standards in the securities industryMonitor changes in the stock market and trends likely to affect clients’ investmentsStay on top of new investment products and maintain a high level of expertise in existing products, market trends and financial services in generalWhat we offer*Competitive salary and annual bonus4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first yearDefined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirementGroup insurance including telemedicineReimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment
