- Manage and develop staff of at least two direct reports;
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close;
- Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems;
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with investor reporting as applicable;
- Preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations;
- Maintaining the general ledger system;
- Assist with annual external audit;
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures;
- Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles;
- Manage and develop staff of at least two direct reports;
- Assist with management of acquisition related integrations as they occur;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of five years' experience in accounting and/or finance (CPA preferred);
- Minimum two years' experience in management position or managing direct reports preferred;
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business administration or related field;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with all levels and departments in the Company;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to multi-task, to prioritize work, to follow through and meet deadlines;
- Results-oriented, hands-on experience in a fast paced environment;
- Acquisition and/or financial integration experience is a plus
- Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus
- Experience of working with NetSuite or other comprehensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
