Location: Mississauga, ONWork Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days On-Site, 2 Days Remote)Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Bonus + Company VehicleWe are seeking a dynamic and skilled Field Service Specialist / Product Specialist to join our team. This role serves as a crucial link between our service partners and sales organization within the assigned territory, ensuring superior service delivery and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, interview, and negotiate contracts with new Maintenance Service Partners as required.
  • Assist in the strategic planning and goal setting for service organization initiatives, including inventory management and improving resolution times.
  • Communicate performance feedback to Service Partners, enabling them to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Compile and submit monthly territory reports and travel itineraries promptly.
  • Review and approve warranty invoices from service partners, ensuring timely processing.
  • Conduct field and in-house training sessions for service partners on equipment, accessories, consumables, and warranty processes.
  • Ensure company-owned inventory remains operational for sales or training purposes.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, ensuring service partners provide professional support.
  • Support the sales process by collaborating with End Users, Equipment Dealers, Manufacturers Representatives, and Regional Sales Managers.
  • Provide backup support to other territories when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details to customers, internal staff, and business partners.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Capable of presenting information effectively and responding to inquiries from managers, clients, and the general public.
  • Experience in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%) within the USA, Quebec, Ontario, and internationally.
