Our Saskatoon location is currently seeking a Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities, as well as troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. You will also oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical, instrumentation, PLC, power/control, and automation systems throughout the facility.Saputo Maintenance: Behind the scenesto explore the inspiring journeys of our maintenance employees—whose passion, expertise, and teamwork transform challenges into success stories.Salary: $47.36 per hour in addition with a night shift premium (+1.60$/h)Schedule: This is a relief position, and candidates must be available to work any shift as needed. The standard schedule follows a fixed rotating shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, structured as:
- 5 work days, followed by 5 days off;
- 2 work days, followed by 2 days off;

- Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, hydraulic, HVAC and pneumatic electrical control systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematic and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs and maintain records using CMMS.
- Maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
- Capable of medium to heavy lifting.
- An instrumentation ticket is considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience in food processing or manufacturing (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, and control systems.
- Skilled in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Familiar with SAP and Windows operating systems.
- Solid understanding and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Demonstrates a strong ability to perform effectively under pressure, with a proven capacity to work independently and maintain high standards with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and diligence
- Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills with high attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
