We dairy you!The Go-to-Market Strategy Senior Director – Fresh, Cheese, Butter & Frozen Products will be responsible for translating the category's marketing objectives into regional commercial plans and by market segment in collaboration with the category, insights and finance managers.How Agropur invests in YOU:Recognition of years of service in calculating vacation timeFlexible group insurance plan, including telemedicine serviceEmployee assistance programOpportunity to invest in you (Career Path, etc.)Pension plan including employer contributions and more.Salary range 009: 160 200$ to 200 200$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)What’s involved in this role:Actively contribute to the development and achievement of the category's annual target in the following market segments: conventional grocery stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, clubs/mass and foodservice.Build and measure the category's MAPPS strategies (Merchandising, Assortment, Price, Promotion, Shelving) aimed at achieving the category's objectives, by region and market segment:- Assortment strategy, distribution maximization and listing of innovations.- In-store and product shelf location strategy.- Regular, long-term and promotional pricing strategy (ad depth and frequency).- Pre-approved food service price lists- In-store execution and merchandising strategy (displays).- Monthly monitoring and animation of key MAPPS indicators; adjusting strategies as needed.Multi-function liaison officer, ensure effective communication between marketing, sales, demand and finance departments. Key contact ‘Sales’ of brand managers (marketing)Maximize the development of the category in the different market sectors (conventional grocery stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, food service and ingredients)Design the category's annual budget/commercial strategy and plan for the entire Canadian market in order to achieve the annual growth targetDefine the category's annual investments budget and prioritize deployment while ensuring a return on investmentCollaborate closely with the marketing strategy directors of other categories for the prioritization of activities and the effective deployment of resourcesEnsure the perfect execution of product launches in the market: planning, execution and post-launch analysisActivate opportunities and minimize risks in achieving category resultsEffectively manage, if applicable, the price increase in the category; define the new pricing strategy and the impact on resultsResponsible for sales committees and category planning – 1x/month per categoryActively participate in decision-making meetings, such as the Business committee, Prime committee (management of internal projects related to categories), Management committee (by category, multi-function team)Change agent, implement market best practices (business and management)Sales operation team: Responsible for the proper management of requests primarily related to promotional activities, commercial agreements, and client files (Master Data).Shopper Marketing team responsibility: Jointly develops, along with the marketing directors, the strategy and the annual shopper execution plan for each category, based on an understanding of customer specificities, consumer purchasing behavior, market insights, and execution at our clients' locations.What you need to join our team:Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or another relevant fieldEquivalent combination of education and/or experience may be consideredMinimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the food or consumer products industry (commercial strategy, sales and category management)Proven leadership, coaching and communication skillsExcellent analytical skills, developed strategic thinkingBusiness acumen, negociation and influenceAbility to manage several files/projects simultaneously, establish priorities, respect deadlinesConcise and effective communication as well as active listeningBilingualism in French and English, spoken and writtenProficiency of common software Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookKnowledge of data from various market analysis systems (Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link, Dunhumby, NPD)Does this sound like you?
