As more companies adopt our platform, cities & utilities will be able to access solutions that deliver on the promise of moving towards a more resilient, sustainable, and equitable infrastructure future.Who Are We Looking For?We are looking for a seasoned product leader with a proven track record of successfully bringing complex data products to market and scaling product management teams. You are a strategic thinker who can articulate a compelling product vision, translate it into actionable roadmaps, and inspire teams to deliver exceptional results. You possess a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, user-centered design, and agile methodologies. Beyond your technical acumen, you are an exceptional people leader, passionate about developing talent, fostering a collaborative environment, and building high-performing product teams. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are adept at navigating ambiguity, making data-informed decisions, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.The position will be out of our Toronto Headquarters.What Will You Accomplish?
  • Define and Drive Product Strategy: Own the end-to-end product strategy for a key product group, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and market opportunities. You will identify new growth areas, assess competitive landscapes, and champion innovative solutions.
  • Lead and Mentor Product Teams: Directly manage and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering their professional growth, setting clear objectives, and ensuring consistent product management best practices across your group.
  • Oversee Product Execution: Guide your teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to launch and post-launch optimization. You will ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet user needs and business objectives.
  • Drive Business Impact: Be accountable for the performance of your product portfolio, utilizing data and analytics to track key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate measurable ROI.
  • Champion User-Centricity: Instill a strong user-centric mindset within your teams, advocating for user research, feedback integration, and continuous iteration to build products that delight our customers.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, customer success, sales, and executive leadership to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market strategies. You will be a key voice in strategic discussions and represent the product organization effectively.
  • Scale Product Operations: Contribute to the evolution of our product organization, helping to define processes, tools, and best practices that enable efficient and scalable product development.
  • Present Strategic Updates: Present performance metrics, and future roadmaps to the Board of Directors and executive leadership, effectively articulating product value and securing alignment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree could be beneficial.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years in a true leadership role (e.g., Group Product Manager, Director of Product).
  • Track record of successfully defining, launching, and evolving multiple products or a substantial product portfolio to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market trends and user needs into compelling product requirements and strategies..
  • Proven leadership with the ability to mentor, motivate, and build highly effective product teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience using metrics to drive product decisions.
  • Experience with delivering Data or SaaS products is a strong plus.
