- Development and performance of effective ALM management strategies
- Development and performance of effective Hedge Accounting strategies
- Design of the target interest rate and foreign exchange sensitivity profile
- Development and maintenance of the Non-Trading Market Risk policy framework
- Ensuring appropriate measurement of non-trading market risk
- Regulatory and Management non-trading market risk reporting.
- Currently enrolled in an in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Math
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions)
- Risk monitoring/reporting and preparation of management reporting activities – daily/monthly - 30%.
- Management of the ALM Documentation Inventory – monthly – 20%.
- Maintenance of the ALM Sharepoint and Confluence Page – monthly – 20%.
- Coordination and management of Non-Trading Market Risk Committee materials and deck preparation – monthly – 20%.
- Following up on various deliverables due by stakeholders – monthly 10%.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point, and a working knowledge of SQL.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have an ability to work well both individually and in team setting.
- Must be able to think conceptually (“out-of-the-box”) and have a high degree of attention for detail.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the capital markets and the products traded on the capital markets (bonds, bills, mortgage-backed securities, derivatives, etc.)
- This position is a 4-month work term and will commence September 8th to December 18th, 2026.
