
Manufacturing Engineer , Mechanical

- Determine strategy for the assembly and integration of produced units
- Ensure communication between the different members (design technical authorities, technologists, planners, quality assurance, management, etc.)
- Continuously review the product design to ensure manufacturability
- Participate in the development and resolution of non-conformances and corrective action requests during the new product introduction phase
- Participate in the development and improvement of the supply chain, and support monitoring activities of component suppliers
- Implement production metrics, analyze variances, determine gaps and implement improvements
- Participate in program engineering reviews
- Represent the production team during MRBs
- Using the tools and ERP, monitor costs and schedules
- Develop and implement optimal working methods, efficient testing tools and train users appropriately
- Participate in Technical Overview Boards (TOBs) to ensure production needs are met in the designs
- Other related tasks
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the production or design of mechanical products
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Good communication skills
- Able to work on several simultaneous priorities
- Rapid decision-making ability
- Ability to demonstrate leadership by interacting with technical teams and management teams
- Project management knowledge
- Dynamic, proactive, detail oriented, attentive to others
