Position Summary:The Production Planner is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations cross-functionally and provides strong, values based leadership within the organization.Responsibilities:
  • Create daily/weekly production schedule.
  • Adjusting daily production schedule to address any changes to priorities or unresolved issues that arise throughout the day
  • Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity date and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools and human resources requirements
  • Preparing production reports as required/requested
  • Manage Inventory – Target 7-10 days across the board. Manage OCD Inventory.
  • Performs various other duties as delegated or assigned
Qualifications:
  • University degree and/or post-secondary education diploma (management studies, food science, engineering) or equivalent experience
  • CSCMP or APICS experience an asset
  • Excellent skills in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication/listening skills
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills
  • Self-motivated/continuous learner
