Job Description:Maintain and repair Caterpillar Construction Equipment, Mining Equipment and Expanded Mining EquipmentComponent rebuild and repairSome ManufacturingPerform routine maintenance workOccasional work at heights and confined spacesFrequent bending, squatting, climbing, and lifting/pushing of up to 45 pounds without assistanceComplete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning teamWork with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as requiredQualificationsJourneyperson Welder Ticket with Interprovincial CertificationValid driver’s license (drivers abstract as a condition of offer)Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detailStrong welding aptitude: vertical, flat, and overhead test for both SMAW and FCAW, machining experience is beneficialRepair welding would be considered an assetStrong line boring experience will be considered an assetImportant DetailsThis position is based in our Regina shop on a 7x7 continuous shiftA condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respiratorAt Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
