We are a successful construction and design build engineering firm, entering its 34th year of operations, with over 60 employees in the field. We are expanding our presence in Calgary, AB and looking to add Skilled construction labourers to the team!Our company offers competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits in a culture that nurtures and rewards success. As such, experienced qualified framers who can demonstrate success in industrial/commercial construction are invited to apply!Job Duties:
  • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
  • Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary
  • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
  • Load and unload construction materials
  • Use necessary hand tools
  • Put together and take apart temporary structures
  • Remove, fill, or compact earth
  • Follow instructions from supervisor
  • Ready to learn on-the-job training when necessary
  • Assist craft workers
  • Perform site clean-up
  • Help promote a work safe environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of team
  • Experience with basic power and construction tools
  • Ability to do physical labor, be able to stand, knee, crouch, bend and walk
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in all weather
  • Must own PPE and have reliable transportation to job site
  • All other safety courses are an asset and may be required for specific job.
