- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project timelines.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, proactively addressing delays or challenges.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders to identify and resolve conflicts early.
- Ensure all work aligns with project specifications, applicable codes, and established quality standards.
- Act as the primary on-site liaison with clients, consultants, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
- Conduct site safety orientations, daily inspections, and weekly safety meetings to uphold OHS and company safety programs.
- Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress updates.
- Coordinate material procurement, site logistics, inspections, and off-site utilities with relevant authorities.
- Establish and maintain site office setup, equipment, and operational readiness.
- Enforce Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes in collaboration with testing agencies and consultants.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve site issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to project team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and overall project delivery.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent, managing commercial and/or light industrial construction projects.
- Proven ability to deliver projects from start to completion, on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing diverse site teams and subcontractors.
