- Work with data and metrics to drive business improvements and lead a broad range of strategic projects.
- Gain widespread expertise in the Aggregates business through job shadowing and rotating across various sites to gain in-depth knowledge.
- Produce and distribute effective operational reports and dashboards regarding progress and achievements.
- Research and report on operational activity and competitor behavior within the marketplace.
- Support the development and tracking of key strategic initiatives to support an annual growth ambition of 10%.
- Participate in a pathway to interdisciplinary management experience, including people management, operations, and finance.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or Applied Science or a Business Administration Degree/Diploma with relevant experience.
- License: Valid Class G License, able to travel within the market when required.
- Required Work Experience: 0 - 3 years of relevant experience, including co-op terms and/or internships.
- Travel Requirements: 60% - Travel within the GTA to various locations daily/weekly.
- Rapidly grasps complex, unfamiliar issues and is adept at using analytical and statistical tools to turn data into business insights.
- Possesses a high sense of urgency and proactively takes on new challenges, focusing on executing daily requirements and driving results for key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Understands how the aggregate business operates, the impact of the role on the bottom line, and demonstrates a rapid understanding of new market and industry dynamics.
- Is comfortable and effective when things are not clear or the way forward is not obvious; can shift gears easily and is flexible in a dynamic environment (e.g., job shadowing and rotation).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings clearly and persuasively to management and cross-functional teams.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Advanced MS Excel, and the agility to quickly learn and utilize business intelligence tools (e.g., SAP, PowerBI, Salesforce).
- Builds effective working relationships with team members, local site management, and other functional groups within the organization.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
