Our client, an established and regarded financial services firm is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This position will support the growing needs of the finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a track record of demonstrating sound and critical thinking and have a logical approach to their work. Strong use of MS Excel will be required for this position. New grads or those with 1-3 years of experience and strong MS Excel skills will be given preference.Reporting to the senior leadership team duties will include but not be limited to;
Full cycle accounting, including quarterly reporting
Preparation of financial statements
Monitor both AR and AP balances while also ensuring payments are documented and accurate
Prepare JE's for investor transactions
Bank reconciliation and supporting schedules, financial statements and tax returns
