- Analyze customer-supplied process data to determine product suitability and ensure technical alignment
- Troubleshoot existing product offerings to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Liaise with factory engineering and customer service teams to develop technical proposals tailored to client needs.
- Prepare cost estimates and quotes for custom technical offerings.
- Collaborate with account managers and inside sales to develop strategic, customer-focused solutions.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or an Engineering Technologist diploma
- Registered or able to be registered as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) through APEGA Experience in an Industrial environment through employment or cooperative programs with post-secondary institutions is an advantage
- 2-3 years of experience in a technical, project coordination, or inside sales role within the industrial, manufacturing, or controls industry (valves, instrumentation, or automation experience is a strong asset).
- Proven ability to analyze technical data and interpret process information to make informed decisions.
- Experience preparing technical quotations, proposals, and costing in collaboration with engineering and sales teams.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems for order entry, tracking, and management.
- Organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and think critically under minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with internal teams, vendors, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
