We are committed to fostering a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment where our employees can thrive and contribute to the success of our clients and communities.Arcadis is looking for a Senior Civil 3D / Revit Modeller with experience in modelling and drafting associated with roads, railways, heavy civil structures and bridges to join our growing design team of professionals and technical experts in Western Canada to support multi-disciplinary projects in the roads, rail, and ports sectors.Role accountabilities:This person will work as part of our project teams to deliver drawings, 3D Models and associated data sets, in line with company and project information management processes and procedures. lead and provide direction and technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development. You will liaise with the project team, BIM Manager and Project Manager to deliver and review models/drawings for the project and make any necessary amendments. You will develop detailed work plans to ensure work is successfully completed within budget and deadlines. The successful candidate with apply BIM processes and be able to establish and implement a BIM Execution Plan (objectives, requirements and conditions) in conjunction with our clients and delivery teams.
  • Develop effective working relationships with the Project Director or Manager and with the client to ensure there is effective communication of progress and changes, as well as the resolution of issues
  • Manage the BIM process supported by the necessary tools in large scale projects, including multi-stakeholders
  • Provide input to the development of the companies Information Management policies and strategies related to Information Management and BIM
  • Implement and ensure compliance with companies Information Management policies and strategies within the team
  • Ensure compliance with Arcadis Information Management standards and national Information Management standards throughout all projects
  • Continuous review of the optimal Information Management related software and develop business cases for new investments
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 10 or more years' relevant experience ideally on a range of small, medium and large and complex projects in the Infrastructure or Transportation Sector
  • Experience in ISO 19650 protocols and their application on large projects
  • Effective project management, client relationship management, commercial skills and management of technical aspects of BIM production for major projects
  • Ideally, knowledge and capability in CDE setup and management
  • Ideally, experience in managing people and working with virtual teams
  • Experience in applying design experience to the models you produce and in setting up and coordinating a BIM Protocol and Execution Plan for a given project

The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
