We have an exciting new opportunity for a Material Handler with Counterbalance Forklift experience to join a fast-paced manufacturing food-based environment!This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic setting, values safety and precision, and is ready to play a key role in the smooth operation of warehouse and production activities.Job Type: Temporary, ongoingLocation: Mississauga, ONPay Rate: $19.50/HourHours: DAY SHIFT Monday – Friday 6:00am to 2:30pmWhat You'll Do:
  • Lead a safety-first and continuous improvement culture
  • Pull product and operate material handling/forklift operating equipment
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices, POs, or other documents
  • Handle and package orders
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate receipt of incoming goods
  • All other duties as assigned by the Company.
  • 1+ years counterbalance forklift driving experience (preferred)
  • HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL REQUIRED
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • “Can do” attitude with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues
  • Able to work occasionally in a cold environment (storage freezer area)
  • Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
  • Understanding of GMP, BRC, HACCP, and food safety standards and regulations
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
