Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.

- Ensure safe, environmentally responsible, timely, and on-budget project delivery.
- Manage distributed project teams to achieve cost-effective, efficient, safe, and timely completion of asset replacement or new capital/system improvement projects.
- Meet with clients to manage their expectations effectively.
- Ensure regular and transparent communication with all stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
- Develop and execute project plans, designs, and studies that meet client needs and comply with all applicable regulations.
- Oversee the development of project budgets, schedules, and reports.
- Identify and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Adhere to change management strategies to manage and adapt to changes in project scope, timelines, and resources.
- Maintain communication channels with clients, stakeholders, and internal personnel to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Provide status reports to project sponsors regarding overall project progress and performance.
- Proactively manage scope changes and resolve complex issues with clients and internal teams.
- Support the growth and development of the project management function by continuously improving project delivery systems and procedures.
- Mentor junior project managers, technical staff, and project services support.
- Provide technical stewardship related to project execution.
- Apply project management best practices.
- Collaborate with remote offices and client operational locations.
- Undertake short-term site assignments to work closely with clients on project development and execution.
- Project Management background with a minimum of five years' experience in Bio Products / Pulp & Paper projects
- Must possess a high degree of originality, skill, and proficiency in the various broad phases of engineering application and knowledge of quality management
- Good communication skills including excellent oral, written and presentation skills for communication with internal team, stakeholders and clients.
- Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood, now or in the future, is required.
- Engineering Degree or a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate are preferred, although other technical qualifications coupled with a track record of successful project delivery experience will be considered.
- P Eng is a preference. US PE is an asset.
