The chemist has the authority to approve or reject manufactured batches, communicates requests for corrective actions to production when necessary, and participates in the quality management of operations.Key Responsibilities● Perform gas chromatography analyses of gas mixtures and pure gases to ensure product quality control;● Ensure the proper functioning of laboratory instruments and analyzers by regularly checking all their parameters;● Develop analytical methods and evaluate the feasibility of requested mixtures;● Track orders and coordinate logistics for specialty gases to meet customer requirements;● Be responsible for quality control to ensure customer satisfaction and implement preventive and corrective actions as needed;● Collaborate on the plant’s purchasing process.#LI-DNIAre you a MATCH?Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in chemistry or biochemistry;Must be a member of the Ordre des chimistes du Québec;Recognized for your problem-solving and planning skills;Strong oral and written communication skillsPreferred qualificationsYou have knowledge of gas chromatography (a plus);You are able to perform physical work on a regular basis (moving compressed gas cylinders)Our Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
