- Develop an overarching temporary traffic management plan that addresses the approach to overseeing the coordination and interface of the individual temporary traffic management plans required to be submitted by each contractor for the purpose of managing any self-directed work, contractor interfaces and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate all temporary traffic management activities across the various contracts to ensure interfaces are effectively managed and resolve conflicts or disputes between contracts when they arise.
- Be the representative with Mobility to set out prioritization of Temporary Traffic Controls and related permitting activities to support the effective management of the various contracts.
- Ensure contractor compliance, supervise the implementation, maintenance and removal of all instances of Temporary Traffic Control.
- Keep records of all Temporary Traffic Control Inspection Reports in accordance and make them available upon request.
- Submit Temporary Traffic Control Inspection Reports. Take immediate action to correct deficiencies with respect to Temporary Traffic Control and document the corrections in the Temporary Traffic Control Inspection Report. Have a qualified designate in place.
- Carry out emergency temporary traffic control operations; and be a member of the Temporary Transportation Management Committee. Be responsible for coordinating a Temporary transportation management committee that will be comprised of Project Contractors, The Client, Governmental Authority representatives and Emergency Service Providers that shall meet on a bi-weekly basis.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with APEGA.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in temporary traffic management for large, complex transportation related construction projects through urban areas.
- Demonstrated experience and capabilities in the use of the Temporary Traffic Controls Manual.
- Be located on the project site office and available on call if issues arise.
