As a Senior Consultant in Data, Analytics and Automation, you will be a part of our Technology Consulting (Data, Analytics and Automation) practice within KPMG. This is a worldwide network of professionals who collaborate on a daily basis to create value from data. Enterprise Data Management integrates and is the connecting link with other data focused advisory services including Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Solutions and Data Security.   • Support the development of AI and advanced analytics strategies, roadmaps, and operating models aligned to client business objectives
  • Contribute to the identification, assessment, and prioritization of AI and analytics use cases based on value, feasibility, and strategic fit
  • Assist in designing AI-enabled solutions and conceptual architectures, including defining inputs, outputs, and high-level business logic
  • Help build business cases and value realization frameworks to support AI investments
  • Participate in and help facilitate AI ideation workshops to identify and refine opportunities
  • Develop insights and perspectives on AI technologies and market trends to support client needs
  • Support the design and documentation of responsible AI frameworks, including governance, risk, and compliance considerations
  • Collaborate with data and technology teams to align AI initiatives with enterprise data strategies and capabilities
  • Contribute to establishing trusted and transparent analytics practices, including documentation and governance support
  • Apply technical and industry knowledge to analyze client challenges and support solution development
  • Execute components of advisory engagements, including current state assessments, use case design, and future state planning
  • Support client deliverables, presentations, and stakeholder communications
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including research, proposal development, and thought leadership
What you bring to the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA considered an asset)
  • 3-6 years of experience in AI related role
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting or advisory environments
  • Experience supporting AI use case development, analytics strategy, or business case creation
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and lifecycle (data, modeling, deployment, monitoring)
  • Exposure to current and emerging AI technologies, including familiarity with GenAI (asset)
  • Ability to translate business problems into data-driven and AI-enabled opportunities with guidance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills
  • Effective communication and storytelling abilities, with experience preparing client-ready materials
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong interest in innovation and AI-led transformation
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel locally or nationally based on client and project needs
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $77,000 to $102,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
