Billing Clerk to support physician billing

Patient Population
Roster Size: Typically 1,500-2,000 patients (at physician's discretion)
Demographics: Rural community with lower socioeconomic status
Case Mix: Broad-spectrum general family practice

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
On-Call: None
Weekends/Nights: None
Care Model
Patient-centered, collaborative care

Compensation & Incentives
Payment Model: Fee-for-Service (billing to MCP)
Estimated Annual Earnings: $350,000-$400,000
Provincial Incentives:Up to $150,000 signing/return-of-service bonus for family physicians practicing in rural Newfoundland and LabradorAdditional bursaries and incentives through the Department of Health and Community ServicesRequirements
Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL)
American Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Physician
CMPA coverage (or equivalent)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Interest in working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary rural practice
