
UM - Media Assistant, Buying

- Assist Buyers with campaign execution.
- Upload media buys and track changes with a high level of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of client billing estimates and reconciliations.
- Assist in solving and clearing billing discrepancies and queries in a timely manner.
- Prepare and send out station lists.
- Work with media partners to ensure all relevant information is obtained in order to maintain accurate media buys.
- Ensure invoice information is collected, and follow up with external suppliers to gather missing information.
- Accurately maintain system and client records.
- Attend media seminars and presentations as required.
- Develop proficiency with media-related tools and research systems.
- Proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape.
- Professional or Educational background in Marketing or Advertising would give leverage to this application.
- Driven desire to develop and excel in a media career.
- Client service oriented.
- Professional analytical and financial acumen.
- Proactive approach to problem solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Highly developed organizational skills with professional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent ability to manage and prioritize time effectively.
- Professional learning agility, with a passion for continuous development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
