
Consultant Salesforce Technical Lead

Reporting to the Head of Technology and Innovation Strategy, this role is integral to the Systems team that is responsible for the systems that the Division utilizes to perform their function. As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you will be responsible to take part in the entire end to end life cycle of the product, including but not limited to designing, implementing, deploying and LWC maintenance. You will be working on implementing solutions on Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Sales Cloud, including but not limited to designing, implementing, deploying and maintaining Salesforce applications.This role is hybrid (2 - 3 days in the office/week) - based in Montreal, QcKey AccountabilitiesDesign, build, and maintain reliable custom processes with Apex code, Visualforce, LWC, and flows following best practices.Develop and manage integrations between Salesforce and other systems using Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Bulk API.Deploy changes from development to UAT and production using Gearset and Visual Studio Code.Play a key role in system and application design considering scalability, configurability, maintainability and adaptability of the solution.Assist in documentation of solutions, and guides in Confluence.Gather requirements and create user stories in Jira.Perform development, unit testing, implementation as it relates to Salesforce.com software.Evaluate business requirements and determine potential Salesforce-enabled components (Should be able to determine when to use customization vs configuration)Work closely with System Administrators and Business Analysts to groom business requirements, and act as a Business Analyst as needed.Lead the identification of opportunities to use salesforce automation.Provide technical assistance in overall solution design and implementation, and assist System Administrators, and act as a System Admin as needed.Assist Systems Team and Head of Technology and Innovation Strategy with system initiatives other than Salesforce.Must havesBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience in relevant field)3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer3+ years of experience full life-cycle Salesforce implementation with strong expertise in the following Salesforce modules: Service Cloud, Experience Cloud3+ years of experience working with software product development processes using agile project management and CI/CD tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gearset, etc.).Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, …)Ability to run code reviews and enforce coding best practicesAbility to design, develop, implement, configure, maintain, administer, and integrate solutions on Salesforce Lightning Cloud platform (LWC)In-depth knowledge of Apex, VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, data loaders, SOQL, SOSLSolid understanding of Salesforce security model including sharing rules, roles, profiles, sharing settings, permission sets, etc.Adhere to defined coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable and easy to understand codeExperience with Salesforce Experience portal administration, Community builder concepts and Service consoleGood interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multi-task and solve problemsSelf-starter, able to develop strong relationships with collaborators, meet tight deadlines and tolerate change and ambiguityDemonstrated accuracy, thoroughness in completing tasks, and attention to detailAbility to work in a multi-functional teamSalesforce certificationNice Have(s):Fluent in English and FrenchKnowledge of CSS, and HTMLAbility to build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth and Single Sign-OnIn the market for…Excitement - Explore emerging technology and innovation, as well as ventures and digital finance that shape the future of global markets!
