QC inspector will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, and recording the results.Schedule: 40 hours weekly with the possibility of OTResponsibilities:
  • Work experience in working with hand tools, and precise measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, dial gage, micrometer, ultrasound thickness gage etc.
  • Inspect in-process products for conformity to blueprints.
  • Inspect finished product to Customer requirements.
  • Must be able to read and interpret CMM reports.
  • Maintain measuring equipment to equipment calibration standards.
  • Perform Audits for compliance to ISO Procedures.
  • Work with production to resolve nonconformance issues.
  • Update and maintain Quality procedures and records.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1 to 3 years experience in a quality inspection role
  • Strong communication, problem-solving ability, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Metal fabrication experience
  • Experience with ISO 9000 standards and procedures
  • 1 to 3 year of experience with Statistical Process Control
