- Proactively identify new labour pools and promote our employer brand through high schools, universities, career fairs, and community partnerships
- Partner closely with hiring managers to forecast talent needs and deliver results
- Screen, interview, coordinate selection, and conduct reference checks
- Deliver prompt, consistent, and positive communication to candidates
- Prepare offer letters and kick off onboarding seamlessly
- Conduct follow-up check-ins to ensure new hires are engaged and supported
- Support and shape HR’s social media presence
- Track recruiting metrics and use data to improve hiring processes
- Research HR trends, best practices, and relevant legislation
- Support HR initiatives, Health & Safety programs, and company rollouts
- HR Certificate / CHRP / RPR (or working toward)
- 3+ years of recruiting or consulting experience (multi-site experience is a plus)
- Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally
- Knowledge of employment legislation (Health & Safety knowledge is an asset)
- High level of discretion and comfort handling confidential information
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel
- A curious, growth-oriented mindset—you love learning and improving
