Are you an experienced estimator with a passion for industrial construction and a talent for leading complex projects from the ground up? We’re looking for an Estimating Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in building estimates that drive real-world success.In this role, you will lead the development of detailed and competitive cost estimates for multi-discipline industrial projects ranging from $3M to $100M. You’ll draw on your 12–20 years of industry experience—at least 10 of which are focused on estimating, with 5 years of field-based exposure—to ensure every number reflects the realities of execution. From the end of detailed engineering through commissioning and client turnover, you’ll know how each phase fits together and be confident turning plans into reliable, accurate costs.You’ll bring deep technical knowledge across all major scopes: piping and steel fabrication, civil earthworks, concrete (cast-in-place and pre-cast), coatings, piling, modular installations, underground systems, electrical, instrumentation, and insulation. Whether you’re building estimates from quantities or crew productivity, you’ll be comfortable breaking down labour rates, factoring in modifiers, and applying commercial burdens and markups that lead to a competitive final price.In this position, you’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, subcontractors, and leadership—validating assumptions, identifying risks, and providing critical input on execution strategies. You’ll also need to navigate various contracting models (lump sum, unit rate, T&M, target price) and clearly communicate your rationale to executive teams.
