Your search is over – a PSW with Home Care Assistance is the job for you!We are seeking 2 female PSWs in the Beaverton area to provide care. Shift start times may vary from 7am to 10 am and will be 7 hours per day Monday to Friday. We are seeking casual individuals who are available to pick up shifts as needed.Job Benefits:
  • Competitive pay at $21.00
  • Benefits Plan available after working 30+ hours per week*
  • 4% Vacation Pay on every pay
  • Flexible hours and schedule
  • 4 hour shift minimum
The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Provide personal care
  • House Cleaning and Laundry Daily
  • Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
  • Provide behavioral support and crisis intervention
  • Maintaining open communication with client and their family
  • Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
  • Responding to all emergency situations
  • All other duties, as assigned
Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
  • PSW certification is required
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months
  • CPI training is an asset**
  • Drivers License and own insured vehicle is required**
  • Satisfactory professional references
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
