In-Store Product Sampler / Brand Ambassador (Event Activation Specialist)Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to support an exciting and engaging Big box re-opening event. This event is designed to thank big box shoppers for their loyalty during the store's construction period.Job Type: Part-time, Contract (for timeline mentioned)Location (Brampton): Walmart Supercenter #1120 5085 Mayfield Rd, Brampton, ON L6R 3S9Date: Saturday, May 16th from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Activation: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM (2-hour setup + 1-hour teardown)Training: 30-minute virtual training on Wednesday, May 13th (time TBD)Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate a PLINKO board game, engaging with customers while they play.
  • Distribute prizes and create a fun, welcoming environment for attendees.
  • Kit prizes prior to the event, following provided guidelines.
  • Manage the activation setup and cleanup process independently.
  • Ensure smooth and engaging interactions with shoppers to enhance their experience.
  • Use a company card to activate and purchase necessary items for the event
  • Product Demonstrations: Organize and conduct in-store sampling events highlighting featured products.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers, providing product information and encouraging purchases.
  • Product Knowledge: Understand the brands and products to communicate their benefits effectively.
Requirements:
  • Access to a vehicle is an asset but not mandatory
  • Strong communication skills and an outgoing personality.
  • Ability to confidently engage with diverse groups of people.
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable and able to manage responsibilities independently.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs for setup and cleanup duties.
  • Must have reliable transportation to the event location
