It supports teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous improvement on the production floor.As our Maintenance Millwright, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and improving the equipment and facilities that power our Packaging Services business unit. You’ll respond with urgency when issues arise, lead preventative maintenance efforts, and continuously look for better ways to improve safety, quality, and productivity across the plant.What You’ll Be Accountable For:
- Technical Support: Act as a subject-matter resource to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues across production and facilities.
- Production Response: Provide timely, hands-on support when equipment downtime or failures occur.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute and support corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs.
- Equipment Reliability: Maintain assets to ensure stable, safe, and efficient operation.
- Maintenance Documentation: Complete accurate work orders and record parts, supplies, and materials used.
- Continous Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to safety, quality, and eqipment performance.
- Contractor Oversight: Coordinate and oversee external contractors as required.
- Service Standards: Support the development and execution of maintenace service standards.
- Facilities Support: Ensure facilities, utilities, and equipment remain in a proper state of repair.
- Issue Escalation: Report major or recurring issues to the Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor.
- Safe Work Practices: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Policy Compliance: Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and GMP requirements.
- Certified Industrial Millwright or a late-stage apprentice with hands-on industrial experience.
- 5-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical or food packaging preferred).
- Experience with packaging equipment, conveyors, pneumatics, PLCs, and HVAC systems.
- Understanding of preventative and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
- Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive. team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends.
- Physical ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
