In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Your OpportunityWe are building a high-performing Workday Financials support team and are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Specialist who wants to become a true expert in Workday Financial Management.In this replacement role, you will serve as a functional and configuration specialist across Workday Financial Management modules, including:General LedgerAccounts PayableExpensesAccounts ReceivableBillingAsset ManagementBanking & SettlementYour responsibilities will include:Configure and maintain business process frameworksMaintain financial structures (Chart of Accounts, cost centers, Location, hierarchies, worktags etc.)Support month-end and year-end close activitiesTroubleshoot functional and data issuesBuild and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fieldsPartner with Accounting and FP&A to improve reporting accuracySupport Workday bi-annual releases (impact analysis, testing, documentation)Lead small enhancements and optimization initiativesDocument configurations, workflows, and governance standardsEnsure strong data integrity and financial controlsImprove financial processes.Partner directly with Finance leaders.Help shape how Workday enables the business.How do we define success for your role?You demonstrate BDO Canada's core values through all aspect of your work: Integrity, Respect and Collaboration.You understand your client’s industry, challenges, and opportunities; client describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality work.You identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clients.You share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains and attracts talent.You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace.You grow your expertise through learning and professional development.Your Experience and Education1–3 years of hands-on Workday Financial Management experienceExperience configuring financial modules (not just end-user support)Exposure to ERP implementations or system enhancement projectsExperience supporting accounting operations (AP, GL, AR, close cycle)Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP; IFRS is an asset)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldStrong understanding of Workday business process frameworkSecurity role configuration knowledgeAdvanced reporting and calculated field experienceWorkday Financials certification strongly preferredWorkday Reporting certification preferredThe expected range of compensation for this role is $60,000 92,000 annually.Why BDO?Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among .
