Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets in alignment with program goals and funding requirements.
- Build and sustain partnerships with youth-serving community-based organizations across Halifax and rural communities.
- Facilitate collaboration among Dalhousie CPH, community partners, and government stakeholders to support project objectives.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of training materials and educational supports for community partners.
- Organize and support workshops, webinars, and knowledge-sharing sessions for staff and partners.
- Monitor project outcomes, prepare progress reports, support data collection, and provide supervision and guidance to project staff and graduate trainees.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as health administration, social sciences, psychology, or related field, with three years of experience in project coordination or project management (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Experience evaluating projects or programs.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Experience working with diverse populations and rural communities, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and communicate professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) for document and presentation development, activity tracking, and stakeholder communication. Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate complex schedules and systems.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Nova Scotia.
- Master's degree.
- Project Management certification/training.
- Experience working in health or community-based settings.
- Experience with federal funding reporting.
- Familiarity with mental health systems and evidence-based practices.
- Knowledge of academic and health institution structures and systems.
- Demonstrated passion for promoting youth mental health and staying current with research evidence.
