
Senior Specialist, Oracle ERP Security

- Lead security administrator for Oracle ERP Cloud instances, responsible for maintaining compliance, health system, and strategic security design.
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to Project Horizon implementation teams in access control strategy, system security configuration, and role provisioning frameworks.
- Manage users access and provision roles and data access based on organization-defined data security policies and user role matrix.
- Lead access audits, identify risks, implement remediation plans, and advise stakeholders on improvements to security controls.
- Establish and enforce Segregation of Duties and security profiles controls, acting as policy owner and escalation point for role conflict resolution and risk assessments.
- Own and govern change management protocols for Oracle security, including change approvals, risk mitigation, and implementation validation.
- Work with Oracle Fusion Technical Manager, to manage and monitor service detail and service notifications related to patching/critical updates/downtime.
- Collaborate on PaaS/OCI administration, focusing on access security, compliance monitoring, and integration-related identity controls.
- Provide expert-level support for corporate Single Sign On accounts and Oracle IDCS, resolving complex authentication issues and optimizing integration security.
- Develop and deliver security analytics reports, identifying usage trends, policy gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Interact and liaise with internal auditors to meet Security compliance requirements and provide required supporting documents.
- Design custom roles by tailoring Oracle seeded roles as per the business requirement review and audit end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Act as an escalation point for application security issues, mentoring junior analysts and coordinating resolution of critical incidents.
- Evaluate and recommend security solutions against requirements, risk, and constraints.
- Responsible for reviewing and remediating security related enhancements and impacts provided with Oracle patches and quarterly releases.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as issue tracking and resolution, as well as knowledge management and collaboration using MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Lead resource in licensing administration activities, including contract formulation for new product subscriptions and renewals of existing subscriptions.
- Maintain data repository containing licensing details, including subscription details and associated costing.
- Provide reporting related to existing Licensing footprint, including user and costing KPIs.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with equivalent technical and experience, required. Additional certification in Oracle Cloud Security, Risk & Compliance, or IAM preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as an Oracle ERP Systems Administrator with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Oracle ERP Cloud Administration supporting a large user community, required.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Security architecture (security console, roles, privileges, hierarchy, etc.) and hands-on experience in updating and implementing user security with Oracle Cloud Security.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Business Process Management (BPM) for Cloud/Fusion ERP (Workflow and approval configuration).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Identity and Access Management, such as Oracle Access.
- Hands on experience supporting quarterly Oracle upgrades including testing and UAT is desirable.
- Experience with day-to-day production support and system performance monitoring is desirable.
- Experience with documentation maintenance for Cloud ERP Application configurations, technical objects, and procedures.
- Experience with managing Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Cloud operations to coordinate and complete any Administration tasks is desirable.
- Good understanding of Oracle Cloud technical environment update process.
- Good understanding of the underlying database tables, interfaces, and data relationships to other Oracle Application modules.
- Working with the Oracle Fusion Technical Manager, manage system integrations and UAT cycle for scheduled Quarterly Update.
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and a keen ability to present ideas in clear and user-friendly language.
- Must be reliable and flexible in response to dynamic work demands, deadline oriented, self-managed and able to act on own where circumstances dictate.
